Ronnie James Dio
As a friend and colleague of Ronnie James Dio I just wanted to write a few sentences to express my admiration for the more than 50,000 people who have sent get well wishes to him. He is blown away with all the prayers said and offered and all the good wishes sent his way- believe me, it has helped both him and Wendy tremendously to have the support and well wishes and love of so many genuine people.
Love, Peace, Happiness , and Blessings

Hi Geezer,
I’ve been a fan of your music going back to about 1980 when I was ten years old. I’ve enjoyed all incarnations of Black Sabbath and also enjoyed the GZR work.
I was shocked to hear about Ronnies illness and was touched by the article I read where you said you were visiting him in the hospital regularly to walk through the illness with him. I lost my best friend to cancer about two years ago and walked with him through this journey.
I’m wishing Ronnie James Dio and speedy recovery.
Even though I’m just a stranger and a fan – I’ve been listening to your music for 30 odd years so I feel like a friend is in the hospital. I’m also a frustrated amateur guitarist myself which also adds to my respect for your craft.
I thought the last album “The Devil You Know” was great. I really enjoyed it. God bless…

Best wishes to Ronnie and his family from Reykjavík, Iceland!
I have been an admirer of your music since 1970 in all the incarnations of Sabbath and now with Heaven and Hell….I wish the band all success and a speedy, full return to health to Ronnie. Cheers!
DIO será eterno!!!
##1 DIO fan ,Life is so short.
I wish there were words to express my feelings. There are none. I’ve lost close blood to cancer. I know what you all have been through. The world looses much with the passing of every individual but RJD will be felt around the world.
I want to thank you, Geezer, and Tony, and Bill, too, for all the incredible music you guys have made and will continue to make until your numbers are also called. I know you won’t/can’t stop and I can’t either! You have all been such a huge part of my life that I feel like I know you and count you as friends. Sounds silly, I know and you probably hear it all the time. I mean it. I’m not just another sycophant. You guys changed my life forever and the loss of any one of you is a heavy burden to bear. All I can say is do your best to remember the good times!
You will all be remembered forever, as long as Metal lives you will too. There wouldn’t be Metal without any one of you, but probably especially you, Geezer. You revolutionized the bass guitar and I’ve only recently begun to appreciate how much you have done. Again, thank you!
Rest in peace, Dio.
You guys have been rockin my world forever. I was jus listening to “Evil Woman” on a live Cd. Very sorry to hear about Ronnie. I hope he can rest well (in peace). All the pain is gone now. Maybe Ronnie can hook-up w/Stevie Ray. That would be one kick butt concert. No one can touch his talent. My condolences to his family and friends.
Sincerely Jim Stetzer
Aqui nós fãs do Brasil estamos muito chateados com esta enorme perda no mundo Heavy Metal, com, morre um mestre nasce uma Lenda. Deus o Abençoe.
Here in Brazilm, we are very sad wtih this loss of heavy metal world. Die one master, born a legend. God Bless You.
I didn’t quite follow this to begin with. But when I read it a third time, it all started to make sense. Thanks for the insight. Definitely something to twirl in my mind.
Geezer my prayers @Blessings to you and Wendy @Tony such a Heavy Loss ! R.I.P Ronnie!
Ah beloved Geezer, I’ve read lots about you in Ozzy’s biography. He puts you out to be one of the few people I could Chill out with. You guys may have had it kinda rough in the past before the glory days, but in my opinion, I think it was all worth it. Even though Ozzy is completely fried now, he’s still one of my top favorites still to this day. Anyhow, my Dad idolized Ronnie and your guy’s kick ass band. It brought him to tears when he heard about the death of one of our most famous singers in history. R.I.P. Ronnie. Later Geezer
I’ve been wondering this for a minute now, did you compose lyrics for Ronnie to sing? Or did you just compose songs for Ozzy? I’d rather hear the truth from you. You really can’t believe everything posted on the WEB these days, I’m sure you understand where I’m coming from. Anyways, let me know if you ever get the chance, but judging that, yeah, you are famous, and may not ever get the chance to read this let alone reply to it. Ha ha. It would be righteous though if you do. Take it easy. . . Sincerely, Keri McClung
