I’m looking forward to hearing you and Bill battling it out in the rhythm section again. Looking forward to hearing the next edition of the great bass tones you got on those early records, and looking forward to the great lyrical perspective you always brought.
A week back or so, from now, there was an official statement on Geezers website. The statement was posted a long time ago. It was however there a week or two back from today, 12 nov 2011.
It read something like “Id like to make clear there will be absolutely NO Sabbath reunion, rumours are false /Geezer” And so on.
Where is this statement now?
Is it not better to be honest to your fans. Declaring something like “Geezer is prohibited to talk about anything concerning sabbath, then, now and in the future because of legal reasons”?
glad your back with sabbath
cant wait for new album and tour
best of luck in forecominng months
with all things….black sabbath…will rule the planet again!!!
11-11-11..the day pigs put their helmets back on!!!!!
Please, Geezer: Record live in the studio using vintage equipment.
Your bass sound was never ever as good as the sound in the “Never say die” video, you know the one recorded live at Hammersmith Odeon. You played a Rickenbacker 4001 then.
Also Tonys SG used at the same concert – wow, whatta sound. I think that´s the John Birch SG. Hope he still has it and uses it during recording!!
That would be something. Todays sound is too perfect, to soul-less, to industrial. Using vintage equipment might be a winner.
One last wish: No more effects on Ozzys voice! He had a beautiful voice back in the old days.
So psyched to hear about a new studio album. Of course will see the tour assuming it passes through Boston/Worcester, but really really happy about a new album
